Once upon a time I tried writing about outfits I thrifted every Thursday. This little experiment died out pretty quickly though, realizing later that I didn’t always wear head-to-toe thrifted outfits, so I simply ran out of outfits/ideas to post.  I don’t shop thrift stores as often as I used to either, mainly due to my hectic schedules lately, and partly because of a current obsession to online bargain shopping (which ties back into my hectic schedules, I swear.)  But I’ve found more excitement and successful finds through spontaneous once-in-a-while thrifting, versus the routine, frequent visits I used to make. I picked up these fun summer pieces on my last trip to Goodwill a few months ago and forgot all about posting these photos.

Looking back at these snapshots have me longing to somehow re-incorporate thrift adventures on here, but realistically not on a weekly basis. I’ve also thought about tying in other forms of “thrifting”– closet parties, clothes swapping with girlfriends, and easy DIY refashions. But for now these are simple ideas until I turn them into actual projects. In the mean time, you guys should also check out my friend Tracy’s blog.
