Things are finally beginning to look like Fall around here. And in SoCal translation, this only means that temperatures dropped to the 80s this past weekend. So here I am, awkwardly smiling through beads of forehead sweat, and strategically using my hair to conceal unattractive armpit stains. But gosh darnit, I’m just ready to wear jackets and boots already!
With boots talk aside, I recently picked up these sandals on sale through ASOS. I’ve been on a mission to update my shoe collection to be more classic and timeless, and lately we’ve been seeing a lot less platforms strutting around. Although this is sad news to my 5’0 height, I have to say that the shorter heels are a more realistic approach to everyday wear. I’ve also realized that I don’t really own staple black shoes… or staple black anything for that matter… being the color-obsessed person that I am. So I loved the subtle pop of bright orange in these sandals. Perfect for fall, and definitely a refreshing transition in trying to achieve a more grown-up look.
